Cookie Policy April 29, 2026

1. About This Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how GreenMatter Biotech LLC (referred to as “GreenMatter Biotech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on greenmatterbiotech.com and any affiliated sites operated by us (together, the “Site”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, which together describe how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By continuing to use our Site after seeing the cookie consent banner, and by choosing which categories of cookies to accept through that banner, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this Cookie Policy. You can change your preferences at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your browser or device when you visit. They allow the Site to recognize your device on return visits, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the Site so we can improve it.

Cookies can be:

  • First-party cookies, which are set by greenmatterbiotech.com itself.
  • Third-party cookies, which are set by services we use on the Site (for example, analytics providers or advertising partners).

Cookies can also be:

  • Session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies, which stay on your device for a set period of time or until you delete them.

In addition to cookies, we and our service providers may use similar technologies such as pixels, web beacons, local storage, and device identifiers. Where we refer to “cookies” in this policy, we mean all of these technologies collectively.

3. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies to:

  • Keep the Site working correctly (for example, to remember that you have accepted the cookie banner).
  • Measure how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve content and performance.
  • Understand which marketing channels bring visitors to us, so we can invest responsibly.
  • Allow certain features (such as embedded videos or forms) to work.
  • In the future, when our e-commerce experience at made2degrade.shop is active, to support wholesale and retail ordering flows.

We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense. However, some analytics and advertising cookies may cause data to be shared with third parties in ways that are treated as “sharing” or “sale” under certain U.S. state privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act). You can opt out of these uses — see Section 7 below.

4. Categories of Cookies We Use

Our cookie consent banner lets you accept or reject cookies by category. The categories are:

4.1 Strictly Necessary (always on)

These cookies are essential for the Site to function. They cannot be switched off in our consent banner because the Site will not work correctly without them. Examples include:

  • The consent preferences cookie that remembers your choices on the banner itself.
  • Session cookies that keep the Site secure and let you navigate between pages.
  • Caching cookies (used by our performance optimization layer) that help pages load quickly.

4.2 Functional (optional — off by default)

These cookies let us remember choices you make (such as a saved form entry or a language preference) and provide enhanced features. If you turn these off, parts of the Site may still work but may feel less personalized.

4.3 Analytics (optional — off by default until you consent)

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site — which pages are viewed, how long people stay, where they come from, and whether they encounter errors. We use this information to improve the Site. We do not use analytics cookies to identify you personally.

The primary analytics service we use is Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 runs through Google’s “Consent Mode v2,” which means until you consent, Google receives only minimal, non-identifying signals. When you accept analytics cookies, we share richer pseudonymous event data.

4.4 Advertising / Marketing (optional — off by default until you consent)

We use advertising cookies to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, build audiences for remarketing, and enable Google’s advertising features (including Google Signals, remarketing, and advertising reporting) through Google Analytics 4. When you consent to advertising cookies, data about your visit may be shared with Google for these purposes. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws, enabling these cookies is treated as “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. You can opt out at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal, or the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer.

We may add other advertising partners in the future (for example, Facebook Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag). If we do, we will update this policy and prompt you to review your advertising cookie consent before those additional partners are activated.

Cookies that we do NOT set: GreenMatter Biotech uses Copper CRM and Mailchimp for customer relationship management and email marketing, but these services receive data only when you submit a form on our Site — they do not set cookies on your browser. How we handle the data those services receive is described in our Privacy Policy, not in this Cookie Policy.

6. Third-Party Services That Set Cookies

In addition to cookies we set directly, the following third-party services set cookies when you use the Site. Please refer to each provider’s own privacy policy for details on how they process your data.

  • Google Analytics 4 — web analytics with advertising features enabled (Google Signals, remarketing, advertising reporting). GA4 runs under Google Consent Mode v2, which means no analytics or advertising data is sent to Google until you consent to the relevant cookie categories on our banner. When you do consent to advertising cookies, Google receives data that it uses to build audiences, enable cross-device tracking, and support Google Ads campaigns. See Google Privacy & Terms and Google Analytics data handling.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, bot protection, and security. Cloudflare sets strictly-necessary cookies (__cf_bm, cf_clearance) to protect the Site against bots and security threats. These cookies cannot be disabled because the Site will not function safely without them. See Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Services that process customer data through the Site but do NOT set cookies on your browser:

  • Copper CRM — when you submit a form on our Site, the form data is sent to Copper CRM as a new lead or contact record. Copper does not set any cookies on your browser through our Site. See Copper’s Privacy Policy.
  • Mailchimp — when you submit a form that includes email subscription opt-in, your email address and any consented contact fields are sent to Mailchimp as a subscriber record. Mailchimp does not set any cookies on your browser through our Site. See Mailchimp’s Privacy Policy.

How data shared with these services is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options for managing cookies on our Site:

7.1 Our Cookie Consent Banner

When you first visit the Site, you will see a consent banner asking which categories of cookies you accept. You can:

  • Accept all cookies;
  • Reject all non-essential cookies; or
  • Customize your choices by category.

You can reopen the banner and change your preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page.

7.2 Browser Controls

Most web browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Instructions for common browsers:

Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the Site from working correctly.

7.3 Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control

Our Site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If your browser transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of advertising and cross-context behavioral advertising cookies. We do not currently respond to older “Do Not Track” headers because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting them.

7.4 “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act. You can exercise this right by:

  • Clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer of the Site;
  • Using the category toggles on our cookie consent banner to reject Advertising / Marketing cookies; or
  • Enabling the Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser.

7.5 Ad Industry Opt-Outs

To opt out of third-party advertising cookies from participating companies, you can visit:

8. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children. Consistent with our Privacy Policy, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through cookies or any other means. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use, changes in law, or changes to the way we operate the Site. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page and, where appropriate, prompt you to review your consent choices again.
